How big is a billion? Join the PopEd team on Tuesday, December 10th from 4:30-5:30 pm ET, for a free webinar where we will share lessons to help students understand big numbers in a world of 8 billion. 

This engaging webinar combines videos, simulations, and hands-on activities that make large numbers more accessible for middle childhood learners. Participants will explore how human population growth has changed over time, solve math riddles and challenges that help students visualize millions and billions, and estimate population size using sampling techniques. 

All grades 3-8 educators are welcome to join but this session is perfect for math, social studies, or science teachers. Register today and leave with resources to engage students in understanding the size of large numbers and the implications of a growing population on our planet.
