In celebration of Earth Day 2025, join the Population Education team on Wednesday, April 9th from 4:30-5:45 ET for a free online workshop that dives into lessons on the past, present, and future of energy.
Through a series of activities: we'll compare historical and modern energy use to understand why we consume more energy today, explore how mining for fossil fuels affects the environment, brainstorm ways to build sustainable communities using renewable energy, and imagine innovative energy solutions for tomorrow.
This webinar features lessons that are great for social studies, science, and math teachers of all ages, and all educators are welcome to attend. Register today and leave with resources that empower students to think about how renewable energy can create a sustainable future.
